Welcome to Maple Brook Preschool!

I am excited to announce that in the fall of 2026 I plan to open a preschool on Broadway in Hanover Massachusetts in the fall starting at age 2.9 years as of Sept 1.

Having been an educator for the last 18 years, I am looking forward to being able to create a space for kids to learn, create, and discover in a fun filled environment. I will be opening the Maple Brook Preschool in the barn in my backyard. It is going to be a unique learning space dedicated to nurturing the simple joys of childhood and fostering a love for learning in a fun and caring environment.

A little bit about me, I grew up in Hanover and aside from attending college have lived here my entire life. I have a professional teaching license in Prek-2 along with a Masters Degree in Early Childhood Education. I am a mother of two young children and I enjoy making their days filled with laughter, learning, and experiences which is exactly how I envision the school.  I want the school day fun, engaging and meaningful. I have a personal motivation to ensure that every aspect of Maple Brook Preschool, from the curriculum to the caring and fun loving atmosphere, is genuine.

Vision and Focus

My main focus is to provide a space where children can enjoy the simple joys of childhood in a supportive and engaging setting. I am passionate about making a child's first school experience truly meaningful. The curriculum will be built on developmentally appropriate fundamentals, ensuring your child is prepared for their academic journey, while also placing a high value on exploring their own creativity and individual interests. I believe that preschool should be a joyful transition and a memorable first step.

The Perfect Setting for Discovery

Maple Brook Preschool will soon find its home in a newly renovated barn, creating a warm and inviting atmosphere. This special space will be filled with a variety of opportunities to explore, create and play.

Beyond the classroom walls, children will have the opportunity to explore 2 acres of land. This outdoor space provides a natural extension of our classroom, encouraging outdoor play, discovery, and connection with nature. Property highlights include an on-site pumpkin patch, a nature walk, vegetable garden, and a flower garden, offering hands-on, seasonal learning experiences that connect children directly to nature and growth.

Following circle time there will be a large focus on exploring and creating, here are some plans for Maple Brook currently:

Exploration will include:

-Gardens

-Nature walks

-Science experiments

-Bubble space

-Marble run

-Sensory table: sand/ slime/ooblec/play-doh

-Butterflies

-Class axolotl (hopefully) coming soon!

-Musical instruments

Creation will include:

-Building projects examples:bird house, kaleidoscopes, wind chimes, sun catchers, beading- necklaces, bracelets

-Art projects examples:canvas paintings, clay, collages, oil pastels

-Science projects

Each day will conclude with story time

School will run throughout the school year and will have opportunities for sessions over school vacations.

Fun Friday: Once a month an event will be held

*Fun Fridays Family Social*

A great chance to spend time with other families and friends from the school, can range from petting zoo, local musician, story teller or a game day.

School week will run Monday-Thursday. Preschool options will be 2, 3 or 4 day a week programs running from 8:30-11:30, 12-2:30 or 8:30 -2:30

There will be 2, 3 or 4 day a week options starting at age 2.9 by September 1st.

Cost per day: 6 hours $90/  3 hours $45 /  2.5 hours $40
